Warragul Toyota is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Parts Interpreter to join our busy Parts and Service team.

Due to the continued growth of our Parts and Service departments, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter, or someone with strong automotive knowledge, to join a professional, supportive and fast-paced dealership environment.
About The Role
Working as part of our Parts Department, you will be responsible for assisting retail guests, trade customers and our internal Service Department with accurate parts interpreting, ordering, invoicing, supply and delivery of parts.
This role would suit someone who enjoys customer interaction, has strong attention to detail, and is looking to build a long-term career within a respected automotive dealership.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Interpreting and supplying parts for retail, trade and internal workshop customers
- Assisting customers over the counter, by phone and via email
- Managing incoming and outgoing parts movements
- Processing sales transactions and invoicing
- Supporting the Service Department with parts requirements
- Liaising with suppliers and external customers
- Packaging orders for dispatch
- Delivering parts to customers and suppliers as required
- Assisting with stock control and annual stocktakes
- General administration duties within the Parts Department
About You
The successful applicant will have:
- A friendly, confident and professional manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work unsupervised
- Neat and professional presentation
- Sound computer skills, including Outlook, Word and Excel
- A current Victorian Driver Licence, as parts delivery will be required
Automotive parts experience will be highly regarded, however applicants with strong automotive knowledge and the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
Desirable Skills and Experience
The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter
- Automotive parts or workshop experience
- Technical automotive aptitude
- Experience with TUNE DMS or similar dealership systems
- Knowledge of the automotive repair industry
